Re: The Prisoner |
If you want them for free, I was shocked to see you can see the episodes at
http://www.amctv.com/originals/the-prisoner-1960s-series/AMC has the new remake series so they are also pushing the old episodes and they are on their website!
If you want to go all out, the bluray boxset of the old series is NOT expensive for so many hours of classic TV. I am looking to get it and wouldn;t need my DVD set anymore; I suspect there will be lots of people like me planning to trade their DVD sets or sell on eBay to 'upgrade' to the BR version.
There's a PD issue and the series has just been remastered for bluray. Why would you expect it to be here ever?

Re: The Prisoner |
Ah AMC !!!!! I miss the old AMC..back when Nick Clooney and Bob Dorian would talk about the movies and where they would air unedited movies too. Not so much sex or violence but things that one cant get away with nowdays like those old Blondie & Dagwood flicks from the 40s. Like this scene in one of the old Blondie movies ( there were so many of them ) between Dagwood and baby Dumpling ( and a black man cleaning a room )...
Baby Dumpling: Daddy..what is that man doing?
Dagwood: Stay away Baby Dumpling..people like that are only good at cleaning houses !!!
Not that I agree with that stereotype but that was the way it was in the 40's. Can't change history. AMC in the 90s didn't. Today..well......

Re: The Prisoner |
Oh goodie. I've always wanted to know about an online business cookbook, since it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH CLASSIC TV.

Re: The Prisoner |
Actually - there will be a post on the Prisoner, just as there is a post on Twin Peaks and other TV/ movie trivia. So you assume too much.
Besides I asked a question. I would like to know if the Prisoner is available online? It's not on YouTube or Netflix.
I could easily say that your answer HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY QUESTION!

Re: The Prisoner |
Dan L answered your question. But my question to
you is: Why on Earth do you need to watch
THE PRISONER when you can freely download
Bonanza - The Spitfire for free here at the archive? Watch that sixty or seventy times and you won't care about
THE PRISONER any more.

Ah, it's in AMC. com. You can watch it there free. You just can't burn it.

Because typically, the first time someone posts to this site and leaves a link to another site normally indicates spam, and that this person won't be back.
We don't take kindly to spammers around these here parts.
